Thornton Manor | Indian Wedding Photography
So many genuine moments captured! So many! Seriously thank you so much, I think I’ve already planned the framers!
When I first skyped Anika and Amit, about their Thornton Manor wedding, I knew I wanted to be a part of their celebrations right away, it sounded amazing. It was my first time photographing at Thornton Manor, which is a stunning 19th Century Grade II listed building, set in 120 acres of beautiful grounds in Cheshire.
Anika and Amit, had an intimate wedding ceremony, with their closest friends and family, in the Music Room of Thornton Manor, which is a beautiful room. This was followed by their wedding reception, where the rest of their invited evening guests joined them, in the Walled Garden Marquee, which was decorated with a rustic garden theme complete with personal details and styling thought out by Anika, the marquee looked amazing and truly unique.
But the pièce de résistance of their wedding, was the party! After the main meal and speeches, where the champagne and cocktails were flowing, came the reveal of the dance floor. Rahul (Anika’s brother) told everyone to put these bands around their wrists, which were on everyone’s table, the house lights, went off, and the curtains lifted, to a spectacular lightshow / dj booth / dancefloor, they had transformed a third of the marquee into a nightclub, it was amazing! There was no first dance, everyone rushed straight on to the dance floor, as DJ H from Kudos Music starting playing for the rest of the night. There’s a reason DJ H is regarded as one of the best wedding dh’s on the scene, he absolutely killed it, playing and mixing tune after tune, and everyone partied hard till 1am.
Anika and Amit, you guys are both wonderful people, super chilled, funny and know how to party! Being surrounded by your amazing family, friends and all that love between everyone made it a truly special day, and I am so honoured that you chose me to be a part of it. The word epic gets thrown around a lot, but your party truly was of epic proportions, I had such a brilliant time. Congratulations to you both once again, I can’t wait to have a few drinks together too in the near future!
Right enough of me rambling….onto the images:
