Chloe and Adam’s Jewish wedding at Old Billingsgate, London was of epic proportions. Chloe and Adam, had their Jewish wedding ceremony at the Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue in London’s Maida Vale, followed by their wedding reception in London. Old Billingsgate, in the heart of London, used to be a world famous fish market, but now is an empty grade II listed building which Chloe and Adam had transformed in to a luxurious wedding reception venue, an incredible backdrop for their celebrations.
I started my day documenting Adam getting ready at his family home. From the minute I walked in Adam and his whole family were incredibly friendly and accommodating, which remained throughout the entire day. Once Adam was ready, we took a few family portraits with his immediate family, in their garden, before moving on to the Synagogue in Maida Vale for their ceremony.
Chloe and Adam, a couple very much in love, had a beautiful ceremony, and after they emerged as husband and wife from under the Chuppah, it was time to get the party started at Old Billingsgate. The night was full of crazy fun dancing, speeches, dinner and even more epic dancing late into the night.
It’s such a pleasure to always capture different cultures and experience them from within, and photographing Jewish wedding’s are no different. From the beautiful serene ceremony, to the crazy Israeli dancing, and then back to the emotive speeches, and back on to the dance floor again where everyone tears it up, its just a rollercoaster of emotions to photograph, which I absolutely love.
Thank you Liam from The Crawleys for having me along to document Chloe and Adam’s Jewish wedding with him, it was awesome to work with you and I hope we can work together again soon.
