Tucked underneath London and easily reached by train, car or plane, Surrey is a truly beautiful part of the country, and great choice for Londoners looking for a quiet country idyll on their doorstep.
I’ve loved shooting all over the county, nowhere more so than at Northbrook Park. This 18th Century Manor house is a spectacular venue, with some seriously grand architecture. They have a beautiful Orangery and Vine Room, which makes an incredible backdrop for a wedding, especially with the glorious peacocks that roam freely through the grounds. They have lots of experience hosting both Hindu weddings and Civil weddings at Northbrook, and you can have your reception there too so you and your guests don’t have to move.
Froyle Park is another gorgeous wedding venue in Surrey. It’s a country estate that blends tranquility with elegance, making it ideal for a Hindu gathering. If the weather is good enough you can have the entire ceremony outside, which is always a pleasure for me to shoot. The Great Hall has room for up to 100 guests, but if you need a bit more space the Grand Ballroom will take up to 300. The grounds are incredibly beautiful, with loads of different settings for you to choose for the portraits, while the suites in the house are an especially nice setting for all your bridal prep shots.
