I loved photographing Sylvia and Florin’s surprise proposal in in Barcelona, Spain. Me and Florin had been discussing for a while how he would propose to Sylvia. Initially, I was just meant to be photographing a couple’s session for Sylvia and Florin, but then when he said he had an idea to propose to Sylvia and would I mind if he did, my response was ‘Hell no! Let’s do this!’ It was a great way to propose, and a great way to capture the proposal in Barcelona, Spain.
We met up late afternoon in Barcelona, and roamed the streets around the Gothic Quarter, Las Ramblas and Port Olímpic. The Gothic Quarter and its surroundings is such a beatiful part of Barcelona, full of cobbled streets, churches, elegance and mystery. Towards the end of the session when we found a quite spot around the Marina, Florin proposed to Sylvia, and it was amazing, a total surprise and full of emotion, which I love!
Sylvia and Florin are both talented videographers in Romania, you can check out their work here: Emotion Collector – so it was amazing to be shooting someone in the wedding industry.
