Quite simply thank you. The world has settled a bit and just wanted to give our sincere thanks to you. Thank you so much for capturing our special day. Moments we will treasure forever!
I had been waiting to photograph an Indian wedding at The Grand in Brighton for quite some time, and I was so pleased when Jaymini and James asked me to their wedding photographer. They had been planning their wedding for quite some time, and I was so excited to photograph their wedding, a celebration of two cultures coming together at The Grand in Brighton.
Indian weddings are always an adventure for photographers and even more so for people from different cultural backgrounds, the non-stop rollercoaster of emotions, the calm mixed in with the manic, so many colours and of course amazing parties, Jaymini and James’ Indian wedding and reception at The Grand, Brighton, was of course no different. An amazing day of celebrations.
My day started off with James’ arrival outside the The Grand, where he was met by all of Jaymini’s entourage ready to welcome him into their family. Once James made his arrival into the mandap, I went to see Jaymini, before her brother’s came to collect her to walk her down the aisle. Their wedding ceremony which was conducted beautifully and well explained to all the guests by Hindu Priest Kamal Pandey, accompanied by Shiv Gopal Music, had so much laughter and emotion, a joy to witness.
After the ceremony, everyone checked into their rooms, to get ready for the wedding reception. The evening was full of even more amazing moments, during the dinner, speeches and the epic dancing that went way into the night. I loved photographing Jaymini and James’ wedding, it was just a brilliant day, full of little big moments throughout, and just an absolute pleasure to be a part of.
It was amazing to work with such a dream team of suppliers, and as always a real pleasure to work with David from Zenith Cinema. Once again, thank you Jaymini and James for making me a part of your day, I wish you guys all the best for the future and hope we get to meet up again soon!
