I was so excited when Sarah & Allan booked me to document their Armenian wedding in London, which took place at Saint Yeghiche’s Church in South Kensington, with their reception at St Ermin’s Hotel in St James Park.
I started my day in-between Sarah and Allan’s room’s whilst they were getting ready. Sarah, was getting ready in a calm & relaxed atmosphere, whilst Allan, was getting ready listening to 2Pac and drinking champagne.
One of the things I love most about this job, is being able to witness and capture different culture’s, and being able to witness these traditions at first hand. Sarah & Allan had a wonderful ceremony, in a beautiful Armenian church, surrounded by their nearest and dearest. After the ceremony, we made our way to St Jame’s Park for some family formals and some portraits, whilst everyone else made their way to St Ermin’s Hotel for the reception.
The evening was full of heartfelt speeches, food, and lots of crazy dancing to an Armenian band, that kept everyone partying till 1am! It was an amazing atmosphere to experience and a total joy to capture.
It was such an honour to document Sarah and Allan’s wedding at St Ermin’s Hotel. They are a couple very much in love, surrounded by family and friends that love them equally as much, and it was a pleasure to see and document throughout their day.
Here are some of my favourite images from Sarah and Allan’s Armenian wedding at St Ermin’s Hotel.
I had an amazing time shooting an Armenian wedding at St Ermin’s Hotel, it was the perfect setting for any Wedding Ceremony.
