This was my first time as a Ladywood Estate wedding photographer, and I had a brilliant time capturing Helen and Neil’s Indian wedding. I had first met Helen and Neil a few weeks before their wedding in London for their pre-wedding shoot, where we discussed their wedding day too, from then I knew that their Hindu wedding was going to be relaxed and good fun.
Ladywood Estate, is an amazing wedding venue, with breathtaking scenery all around. Helen and Neil’s ceremony took place in the Ladywood Estate Pavilion, with was originally a barn conversion, with loads of daylight pouring in. The estate’s formal gardens and park land, is amazing to wander around, and a stunning location to create some artistic portraits too. I’ve travelled to loads of wedding venue’s up and down the country, but this was the first time, i’ve actually witnessed the owner being fully involved with the wedding and helping out on the day, he was a brilliant guy.
Helen and Neil, are two super happy people, always smiling, laughing with one another, and these kind of humans are my most favourite. Throughout the ceremony the smiles and laughter did not stop, these guys totally enjoyed their wedding day to the fullest, and surrounded by brilliant family and friends it was hard not to.
It was an immense pleasure to be able to document these guys Hindu wedding and reception, enough of me waffling on, here are some of my favourite frames from their day. I had an amazing time shooting at Ladywood Estate, Rutland, it was the perfect setting for any Wedding Ceremony.
