As a wedding photographer based in London, I have been honoured to document many wedding stories for some amazing couples and their families.

Above is just a small selection of my favourite images over the past year or so, I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Welcome to my wedding photography portfolio, these are just a small selection of some of my favourite photographs from the past few years. Being a London wedding photographer my style is a mix between documentary and portrait photography, but mainly creating images that are natural, unposed and photojournalistic.

I’m not a traditional wedding photographer, as my interests in photography stem from studying some of the great documentary photographers such as Don McCullin, Henri Cartier-Bresson and Alex Webb to name a few, along with also looking at iconic fashion photographers such as Mario Testino, Tim Walker, Zhang Jingna and more.

At your wedding I am always shooting, making sure I anticipate key moments that fleet by in an instant and of course being at the right place at the right time. I’m always searching for moments that happen between family and friends, that may not be part of the ceremony trying to encapsulate and tell your wedding day story as a whole. I’m always trying to fill my camera frame with as much of your story as possible, not just honing in on the couple but including everyone else that was a part of the ceremony. So many of these examples can be seen in the my London / Worldwide portfolio above.

I love to document people, documenting honest and real reactions. I feel this is my legacy work and the best way to remember your loved ones and for future generations to understand who they were. Unobtrusive is an over used word, even though I try to blend into the background, I want to be around the action and where the moments are happening, so you will see my float around the wedding venue and get up amongst it with you and your guests. If I can feel the emotion then I know the photograph I am taking will convey that emotion too. However, I will never mess with the flow of your day and tell you what to do – apart from group photos and possibly portraits.

Emotion and moments aside, I am constantly searching for good light, most of my work is driven by light. Little pockets of light that help to draw attention to the moment and let me play with shadows and highlights to get even more creative. All of these things; light, moment and composition excite me as London wedding photographer and it all allows me to create uniquely timeless images for you. People, relationships, quirky places, adventures is what makes me love this job so much. It’s always an honour to capture amazing stories in stunning locations and I am forever grateful to all the couples that allow me to be a part of their journey and I hope one day I can be a part of yours.
